Baltic and Back

I've been on a three week vacation to the Baltic. St Petersburg welcomed me with its warm embrace, cheerful customs officials and expensive visa. Loved it. I'll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for the thought, Kim. I have just returned this very evening from my second vacation, this time in Austria (I go clambering up mountains a lot!) Sadly It's back paid work from Monday but judging by my post bag there's enough material to keep me busy and you entertained. I'll commence posting tomorrow Friday. Maybe a picture shortly.

It is always hard to remember the past. Previously it was before. Time is different. But thank you for that because you write. Good luck.

A panoramic shot would also be good. It looks like a peaceful town, it would be nice to stroll there 'cause I can't see any vehicles nearby. Given the chance I would also like to spend a vacation there.
